Glass products cleaning skills summary

1. Kerosene + Chalk Ash:

Drip kerosene on the glass, or use chalk ash and gypsum powder to dip in water and apply it on the glass to dry, wipe it with a clean cloth or cotton. The glass is both clean and bright.

2. Fine sand: When painting the walls, some lime water will be stuck to the glass window. To remove these lime tumor marks, it is more difficult to scrub them with ordinary clean water. Therefore, you need to use a damp cloth to dip some fine sand to clean the glass windows, so that the glass can be easily cleaned.

3. Toothpaste:

Glass furniture will turn black if it is too long. You can wipe it with toothpaste with a fine cloth to make the glass cleaner.

4. Kerosene or white wine: When there are traces of glass on the window or oil stains, drip a little kerosene or white wine on the damp cloth and wipe it gently, and the glass will soon be smooth and bright.

5. Protein water:

After washing the fresh egg shell with water, you can get a mixed solution of protein and water. Clean it with it for glass, which will also increase the luster.

6. Old newspaper:

Wipe with a slightly damp old newspaper. When rubbing, it is best to rub one side vertically up and down, and the other side horizontally, so that it is easy to find missing places.

7. Vinegar:

If there is paint or dirt on the glass, you can apply some vinegar on it and wipe it off with a clean cloth after soaking it.

8. Alcohol:

Rinse it with warm water first, then wipe it with a damp cloth dipped in a little alcohol, and the glass will be particularly bright.

Mirror cleaning tips

1. If there is dirt on the mirrors such as small mirrors or large cabinet mirrors, dressing table mirrors, etc., you can use a soft cloth (or gauze) and dip it in some kerosene or wax to wipe it. Do not use a wet cloth to wipe it, otherwise the mirror will be blurred and the glass will be easily corroded. Wipe the mirror, frame and keys with a rag dipped in milk to make it clear and bright.

2. When taking a bath, the mirror in the bathroom is often blurred by the steam. You can apply soap to the mirror surface and wipe it with a dry cloth. A layer of soap film will be formed on the mirror surface to prevent the mirror surface from blurring. The same effect can also be achieved if astringent lotion or dishwashing liquid is used.
