Giant panda Ruyi was born at the Bifengxia Base in Ya'an on July 31, 2016. She is now 6 years old.

On July 31, 2019, 3-year-old Ruyi "settled down" at the Moscow Zoo.

Recently, footage of Ruyi, a giant panda who has lived in Russia for more than three years, went viral on the Internet. Having gained 40 kilograms, he is flexible and can perform various difficult movements, such as climbing trees, swinging, somersaults, and filling buckets with water... He can handle it all with ease, and he looks like a "Kung Fu Panda".

Netizens ridiculed: As expected, he was raised by a fighting nation and developed the Russian national temperament.

However, Yaya, another giant panda on the other side of the ocean, was not so lucky.

Yaya was born on August 3, 2000 in Beijing Zoo. In April 2003, as part of the Sino-US joint plan to protect and research giant pandas, Yaya and the male giant panda Lele arrived at the Memphis Zoo in Tennessee, USA, and began their stay in the United States.

In 2013, after the 10-year lease period of Yaya and Lele ended, the Memphis Zoo signed an agreement with the China Zoo Association to extend the lease period to April 2023.

In 2023, following Lele's death, Yaya's health received widespread attention, and her video even appeared on the big screen in Times Square, New York, USA.

It was revealed on the Internet that Yaya’s living environment is dirty and messy, her hair is no longer white, she moves slowly like a sick old man, and her skinny bones are visible to the naked eye.

Since then, the whole country has been shouting, hoping that Yaya can go home early, but there has been no news of returning home early. According to the contract period of April 7, Yaya still has one month left. I hope that Yaya can spend this month in good health and wait for her mother to take you home safely.
