The growth rate of cats is different from that of us humans.

The average life span of cats is only more than ten years.

What stages do they have to go through in these ten years?

Let’s learn more about it below.

Kitty period (0-6 months)

Kitty period is the most vulnerable period in cats' lives. Newborn kittens need the care of their mother cats, and a warm environment and sufficient nutrition can ensure their healthy growth. At this stage, the owner needs to provide the kitten with digestible food and regularly get vaccinated. After the full moon, the kitten began to explore the world bit by bit with the cat mother, and was curious about everything. When they saw flying bugs, they would be excited to chase them.

Juvenile (7 months-2 years old)

Juvenile cats are curious, lively and active, and begin to learn hunting skills and establish friendships with other cats. At this stage, the owner needs to provide sufficient toys and activity space to satisfy the cat's curiosity and cultivate good behavioral habits. This is also the stage of cat character development. It is best to provide some obedience training for it and feed some snacks for interactive rewards.

Youth (2-5 years old)

Youth cats are strong and energetic. They have mastered hunting skills. At this stage, the owner needs to provide the cat with sufficient nutrition, regularly comb the hair, and keep the indoor and outdoor environment clean. When the cat is alone at home, it will sit on the windows and balcony to bask in the sun, looking forward to the owner's return home. The cat: "I hope the owner can bring me delicious food and don't dislike me for gaining weight."

Mid-abortion cats (5-10 years old)

Mid-abortion cats gradually become mature and steady, and no longer as active as they were when they were young. They are still energetic, but they begin to know how to enjoy life and their owners' company. At this stage, the owner needs to pay attention to the cat's health, conduct regular check-ups, and promptly detect and treat underlying diseases. The cat thought to himself, "Am I old? I hope my master can spend more time with me. I am also very obedient now and will not make trouble."

Old age (10-15 years old)

Old age cats gradually aging and their activity decreases. They may need more care and care. Pets mainly take their cats to the hospital for regular check-ups to fully understand the cat's physical condition. In old age, cats will have a bad appetite due to physical deterioration. Pet owners can feed them some delicious snacks, choose easy-to-digest and absorbable, and mix them into water to increase the cat's appetite.

Ages (15 years old+)

Cats over 15 years old have a long lifespan. Few cats can reach this age. Their physical functions have declined, their teeth are falling, their hair turns white, and their movements are slow. They spend most of their time sleeping and going to the hospital more frequently. The countdown for their lives has entered, and it is probably its biggest wish to be with their owners~
