Desert cat, also known as the cat family, is a unique species among all traditional cats. With the Sahara Desert as the main geographical area, it has different populations in Africa and Asia. Desert cats are very mysterious animals, rarely discovered by people and rarely studied. The body length of the desert cat is approximately 33 – 46 cm, and the length of the tail is approximately 15 – 30 cm, and the weight is approximately 0.82 – 1.31 kg. As its name suggests, desert cats live in some of the driest places. These places are usually lacking in water and are covered by high temperatures and strong sunlight. If you want to find desert cats in the big desert, then you need to have some pretty good driving skills.

Desert cats have a "square face" and are one of the iconic features of the desert cat population. Its mane and whiskers are long, especially the ones on its forehead, and those that are put together to make it look like a tug of war. These bristles and whiskers are key factors that help it survive in the desert.

Their smooth and heavy coats maintain body temperature well, and its stitches can help it in some directions when it navigates in the wind and sand, and can also be used to pierce some small insects in the desert.

Even as a rarer species, desert cats are called "gems" of ecosystems by many people because they are able to provide food and habitat for many animals in the desert, and their role is crucial. They often hunt, track and kill smaller animals such as rats, muskrats and prickly rats.

His hunting skills are very skilled, able to run quickly, then suddenly stop, quickly lock the target and jump to it. At the same time, in order to avoid losing too much water in overheated weather, they do not engage in too much activity, but stay in a cool place to rest and wait until the weather cools down slightly, which ensures its ability to survive in such a harsh environment.
