Many people think that summer is a good time to trim your dog's hair, because the weather is hot, which can make your dog cooler and more comfortable. In fact, this is wrong. The hair of pugs should not be trimmed in summer, because pugs' hair is composed of double layers of hair, the inner layer of fuzz is the function of keeping warm and regulating body temperature, and the outer layer of needle hair has the effect of waterproofing and resisting ultraviolet rays! If the hair is shaved, it is equivalent to removing the protective layer of the skin. In this way, the skin of the dog is exposed to ultraviolet light without any warning, and will naturally cause serious damage to the skin and even cause lesions and other dangers.

1. Appropriately trim the hair for the dog but do not expose the skin.

2. Trim the hair under the belly soles of the feet (because dogs rely on the soles of the feet and tongue to dissipate heat)

3. Trim the hair under the belly so that the belly can directly contact the ground to cool down.

4. Adequate cool drinking water.

5. Avoid the sun's time to let the dog (10 am to 3 pm is the most sunny time)

6. Appropriate air conditioning and fan combination, you cannot just turn on the air conditioner, so that the dog will also be air conditioner disease.
