The design of this jersey is inspired by the white, red and green away jerseys of the 1974-75 season, and is 50 years old. The most eye-catching design element is a vertical stripe in the center that blends the red and green of the old jersey and creates a unique and minimalist aesthetic through multiple thin parallel lines.
It is worth mentioning that Chelsea's 1974 jersey was inspired by the color of the Hungarian flag and the "Magic Magyar" (the nickname of the Hungarian national team). The jersey will be officially released in June 2025, just in time for the 2025 Club World Cup.
