Isak was interviewed recently. He admitted that he has not spoken to former coach Eddie Howe since leaving Newcastle.

Isak joined Liverpool for a British record fee on the transfer deadline. For most of this summer, he tried to force Newcastle to release him by going on strike. His strategy attracted many criticisms, but now he believes that the best way for all parties is to turn the matter over.

Isak said: "This is not something I want to dwell on now. It is not good for anyone, neither me nor Newcastle, so let it pass."

When asked whether he had communicated with Eddie Howe after leaving, Isaac replied: "No."

"I'm trying to push myself and play my game, and things have definitely gotten a little tougher for us. I believe that as the team improves, when things start to flow more smoothly, my performance will be better."

"I'm really happy so far. This is a city with a very good relationship between the team and the fans, which is important. So far everything has been good."

Looking ahead to Sweden's World Cup qualifying campaign, Isaac added: "I'm ready to play the full 90 minutes if needed. It's been a month now."

"I've gotten more game time, things have calmed down, and I feel like I'm in a much better state now than during the last international break."
