Leicester City’s official social media posted a message in memory of former club chairman Vichai who passed away in a helicopter accident.
Leicester City social media posted a photo of Vichai and wrote: "Today is the seventh anniversary of the tragic death of our beloved late chairman Vichai, as well as Pompalai, Suknamai, Swafo and Lehovich. They will always be in our hearts. In my heart."
Vichai acquired Leicester City for 39 million pounds in 2010, and the team won the Premier League championship in 2016. He died in a helicopter accident on October 27, 2018, at the age of 60. In memory of Vichai, Leicester City erected a statue in his honor at the King Power Stadium.
