The most exciting thing about raising a cat is not when it acts coquettishly with you, but when they are pregnant with a baby. But after all, cats are different from humans. Often you don’t know that it is already pregnant, especially for novice cat shovelers. Today, the editor will tell you how to see if the cat is pregnant.

1. Observe whether the cat has signs of estrus

Usually, after pregnancy, the cat will not show howling, approaching male cats and other estrus symptoms, so the owner can first observe whether the cat has signs of estrus. If the cat has stopped in heat for a week, the cat may be pregnant. In addition, because cats may not show estrus when they are fake pregnancy, the owner also needs to observe whether the cat is willing to let the male cat get close. If they are unwilling to let the male cat get close, the possibility of pregnancy is very high.

2. Observe the changes in the cat's body. In terms of physical performance, generally speaking, the cat's breasts will protrude and expand the nipples about 20 days after pregnancy, and the color of the nipple will slowly change to pink, and the hair around it will gradually fade away. Due to the uterus swelling, you can feel the swelling when touching the cat's abdominal position. In about 40-60 days, the cat's breasts can be enlarged with naked eyes. When the cat's nipples are approaching the delivery period, you can also see milk flowing out of the cat's nipples, abnormal emotions, and constant licking of the vagina.

3. Perform a B-ultrasound examination

If you find that the cat has the above abnormal symptoms, you can take it to the pet hospital for a B-ultrasound examination. This method can not only accurately determine whether the cat is pregnant, but also determine the number of fetuses, fetal development status and the expected delivery date of the female cat.
