And those hairy children who were abandoned by their masters or even abandoned many times are the worst. They were held in their hands like treasures by their masters, and they felt the beautiful taste of being loved by humans, but were pushed into the abyss by their masters. The pain of falling from heaven to hell is difficult to describe in words.
If such furry children are not rescued in time after wandering, they will not live long. Even if they are rescued, they will not have to worry about food and drink, and the furry children will be depressed all day because they do not understand why the owner abandons themselves.
The stray cat with a catheter
In April this year, a shoveler in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province found a stray cat while walking in the community. The little guy was particularly a relative. The shoveler called it casually, and the cat ran towards him with a meow, meowing, rubbing his head against the shoveler's trouser legs, and gently acting coquettishly at her.
After getting close to the cat, the shoveler suddenly discovered that a catheter was inserted into the cat! No wonder this cat is so close, because it was originally a domestic cat.
The cat probably had some disease, and the owner also took it to treat it, but for some reason, he asked the owner to give up the treatment and threw the cat in the community.
The domestic cat with no survival ability is dragging its sick body and wandering around the community at a loss. It is so hungry that it meows with helpless eyes, acting spoiled to every human it encounters, hoping that they can help themselves.
Many people stopped after seeing this cute round-faced cat, but when they saw the catheter, they chose to leave.
This is the second time it has been abandoned
The shoveler also has cats at home, but her kitten has no worries at all. She only eats, drinks, and has fun every day. After seeing the despair in the eyes of this cat, the shoveler's heart is almost broken. Its owner cannot do it and has an end, but she cannot do it without saving her. She decided to help this little guy.
The shoveler took the cat to the pet hospital. The doctor pulled out the catheter, but found that the tube had been blocked. The cat could not urinate normally. Every time he urinated, it was an extremely painful experience for him.
What is even more sad is that the cat's urinary tract infection, due to the lack of timely treatment, caused necrosis of the kidney on one side, and it must be removed surgically.
The shoveler sent the cat to the operating table with a nervous mood, and fortunately everything went well! After the operation, the cat began to improve. It was eating food in big mouthfuls, and shed tears while eating, which made the cat owner feel distressed.
Later, the shoveler found out from multiple sources that this cat was abandoned for the first time. The cat was abandoned in the community by the original owner a few years ago and taken in by the new owner. Unexpectedly, this little guy was abandoned by the new owner again because of illness.
In fact, if the owner is treated in time, the cat's kidney can be kept. The poor little guy has not met a reliable owner twice in a row.
While taking care of the cat, the shoveler found that the cat had a very good temper, a gentle and clingy personality, and was extremely friendly and intimate to his kind.
Thinking about the pitiful look of the cat when he first met it, it was probably because he was worried that he would be abandoned again, so it would be so well-behaved and sensible!
The cat is temporarily taken care of by the shoveler. When the little guy fully recovers, the shoveler will help it find a suitable owner, a master who will never abandon it again.
Don't raise blindly
When there are more stray cats and dogs on the streets, some people will point their fingers at the stray children, but never think that the people who are truly responsible are those who are called "masters" but have never fulfilled their responsibilities.
Those people swore to protect them for the rest of their lives, but because of all kinds of excuses, they eventually abandoned their children.
When screening owners, many rescue agencies will set a series of restrictions, such as economic level, house area, regular visits, etc. These conditions seem a bit harsh, but in fact they are truly responsible for the hairy children.
If you are not sure whether you can take care of them for the rest of your life, then don't take them home. Blindly raising them and abandoning them again will only cause secondary harm to the hairy child.
I wish every hairy child can meet the master who is responsible for it for the rest of his life.
