When a dog experiences lame pain, the pet owner should not panic. He should first conduct a practical analysis of the dog's condition and see what is causing it. Then, he should use effective countermeasures to assist the dog based on the reasons. Regarding the dog's lame situation, let's share some of my work experience below and hope to have some assistance.
1. Injury to the seat cushion and foot
After you find that the dog has a lame pain, the pet owner should first carefully check whether there is any wound on the seat cushion and foot. If you find that there is a wound, you should use cotton balls and iodine disinfectant to solve the problem. Then sprinkle the pet quickly and tie it immediately with sterile gauze to prevent the wound from getting inflamed. However, if the dog is seriously injured or has the main manifestations of bone fractures, it is recommended to take it to the hospital for treatment immediately.
2. Long-term calcium deficiency
If the dog usually eats a single dog food and does not consume other nutrients, especially calcium nutrients, it is likely that the disease of lameness will appear due to the lack of calcium.
For this matter, pet owners must attach great importance to the calcium and zinc supplement work of dogs, and choose to feed them some ingredients rich in calcium, such as kelp silk, shrimp skin, beans, beef and mutton, etc., and appropriately mix calcium carbonate for dogs such as Wang Lijiao into the ingredients to help the dog recover its calcium level in the short term. In addition, you can usually take your dog to exercise outdoors and bask in the sun to promote its digestion and absorption of calcium.
3. Rheumatism,
The dog's lame pain may also be caused by long-term settlement in cold and cold natural environments, excessive exercise, frequent indoor stairs, etc. This type of personal behavior is more likely to aggravate the dog's joint pressure, which in turn causes joint problems such as rheumatism.
For this matter, if the dog's condition is not very serious, and in the early stage, pet owners can first adopt conservative treatment methods and conduct observations based on feeding dogs such as Jieliqu. But if it is serious, it is best to take it to the hospital for treatment immediately, and you should pay attention to daily medical care in the middle and late stages.
In addition to the reasons described, patellar dislocation is also one of the reasons for dogs' lame pain, especially in small dogs, such as golden retrievers, small Teddy, etc. This type of disease is generally divided into four levels. Junior and middle schools can be treated according to medication, and must be treated with surgery at the third and fourth levels.
