Mallorca officially announced that it would sign 22-year-old Finnish goalkeeper Lucas Bergstrom and the two sides signed a 2+2 contract.
On Tuesday local time, the Mallorca Club issued an announcement on its official website stating: "Lucas Bergstrom is Mallorca's new goalkeeper. He signed with the club until June 30, 2027, and has the option to renew his contract for two years. Welcome to join, Lucas!"
Lucas Bergstrom was born on September 5, 2002. He joined Chelsea Youth Training in 2019. Lucas Bergstrom and Chelsea's contract expired at the end of June this year and joined Mallorca as a free agent. Lucas Bergstrom is 204 cm tall and is one of the highest goalkeepers in European football. He has been selected for the Finnish national team and has represented Finnish U21 team in the European Youth Championship this summer.
