Official: Villa Park to host 4 European Cup matches

The schedule of the 2028 European Cup was recently announced. Villa Park Stadium in Birmingham, England, will be one of the host venues for this event. According to official news, Villa Park Stadium will host 4 of the games.

The 2028 European Cup in the UK and Ireland will be held in 9 world-class stadiums in 8 famous host cities. This tournament is expected to provide fans with more than 3 million game tickets, which is more than any previous European Cup.

The event schedule has now been announced. The opening match of this European Cup will be held at the National Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on June 9, 2028 (Friday), and the exciting final will be held at Wembley Stadium in London on July 9, 2028 (Sunday).

Birmingham will host four games in the tournament. The game venue is Villa Park Stadium, and the game dates are June 11, 15, 20 and 27 respectively. In Birmingham, the local host city's official logo was unveiled for the first time on Wednesday evening, and the Birmingham library was lit up in celebration.
