talkSPORT reported that Newcastle is still negotiating with Wolves about a transfer for striker Larson after their two offers were rejected.
It is understood that Larson is eager to join St James' Park Stadium, but he will not take the initiative to force himself to leave Molyneux Stadium.
Wolves said that during the current transfer window, the Norwegian striker was not a seller.
On Tuesday, Newcastle made a £55m improvement offer to Larson, but was rejected again.
